The Feeler and the Anchor
One of you feels it all at once. One of you has stopped feeling it.
How a Feeler and an Anchor carry hard things together: where you’re good, where it rubs, and what to say.
Find out which you areAbout a minute of quick taps. Then send it to them.
Where you’re good together
The Feeler brings color to the Anchor’s flat days, and the Anchor stays steady through the Feeler’s waves.
Where it rubs
The wave looks like too much to the Anchor. The flatness looks like not caring to the Feeler.
What helps
The Feeler lets the wave pass before asking for anything. The Anchor says ‘I’m here, I’m just flat’ out loud.
A Feeler might say
“I’ll let this pass before I ask you for anything.”
An Anchor might say
“I’m here, I’m just flat today. It doesn’t mean I don’t care.”
Loving each other
If you love a Feeler
- Don’t tell them to calm down. Give them a minute, stay close, and talk once it has passed.
- If they cry or snap, it isn’t a verdict on you, and it won’t last. They’ll want to make it right.
If you love an Anchor
- Invite them to small things, and keep inviting even when they say no.
- Don’t ask them to explain the quiet. Make no big deal of it when they show up.
