One of you is off duty tonight. Say which. The other gets to not be fine without a plan for it.

“I’m off duty tonight. Can you be too?”

“This one isn’t ours to fix. Let’s leave it.”

If you just want them to listen, say so in words. They’ll switch gladly once they know.
Tell them plainly when they’re running themselves into the ground. They won’t notice on their own.

When everyone else is falling apart, you’re making the list. “People think you don’t feel it. You feel it. You’d just rather do something about it.”
